Will Stedman & Olivia Podmore – MGS Olympians

Olivia Podmore :: New Zealand Olympic Cycling Team :: Rio Olympic Games 2016
Middleton Grange alumni Olivia Podmore is representing New Zealand at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. 

Olivia will be competing in the Individual Sprint, Team Sprint and Kierin for the Track Cycling Team.

Bible Story Holiday Challenge

Throughout the holidays the Primary children were give a 3D challenge:  create a box showing a story from the Bible.  Jonah, Daniel and Noah were the sheets given, but they were able to make any story from the Bible.  What a surprise to see the wonderful boxes that came back!  

Junior Girls’ Netball

The Y9/10 Girls’ Netball team competed in the South Island Junior Secondary Schools’ Netball Championships over the holidays, playing against the top schools the South Island has to offer. The girls played very well, making it all the way to the quarter finals before narrowly losing to Ellesmere. The girls finished the tournament in 6th place –

Identity Conference 2016

Run by 40 pupils – the Prefect team and a number of Year 12 pupils under the leadership of Loisi Tuavakaola, this event picked up the baton passed to them by the pioneers of this initiative – the 2015 Prefect team. The event was held at St Teresa’s school and was opened up to Wharenui (who unfortunately were unable to attend at the last minute),
