The Y9/10 Girls’ Netball team competed in the South Island Junior Secondary Schools’ Netball Championships over the holidays, playing against the top schools the South Island has to offer. The girls played very well, making it all the way to the quarter finals before narrowly losing to Ellesmere. The girls finished the tournament in 6th place – one of the highest results we have had at this tournament in school history.
Congratulations to the girls for their effort and the way they represented our school in such a positive manner at the event. Thank you to Chelsea Kennedy for all her hard work with this team.
