Overseas Trips

Mission and outward focus to the less fortunate beyond our shores are a key ingredient of school life. The school sponsors several children through World Vision and participation in the 40 hour famine is encouraged. Other World Vision fundraisers are run at this time to increase our contribution.

All overseas trips have a discipleship component, focused on spiritual growth, as pupils are prepared to grow in both leadership and service during their time away. Most missions trips are for two weeks, including one week of school holidays.

Language Trips

Year 11-13 French, Spanish and Chinese language pupils have the opportunity to engage in bi-annual language mission trips. These trips prepare pupils to connect their studies with serving the Lord by working with indigenous missionaries in an authentic cross-cultural context. See your language teacher for details.

Year 12 pupils can participate in an annual two week trip to bless our island neighbours. The focus of this trip is service and mission with involvement in community outreach projects and ongoing development of a supportive relationship with a local high school.  Find out who is in charge at Student Services.
