DOLPHINS

Jumping Dolphin

Dolphins are sea creatures, some species of dolphins are close to extinction. Some sea life parks have dolphins and they sometimes have dolphin shows. The Hector dolphin is one of the closest dolphin species  to extinction. 

 

Two types of dolphin is found in  New Zealand it is called the Hector Dolphin. The Hector Dolphin is found in Akaroa, the Dusky Dolphin is found on the out skirts of Kaikoura.  2 Dolpins
DolphinsDolphins are incredibly flexible. They jump up in the air to breathe. Dolphins  have blow holes in there back they use these to breathe. Some times you might see blast of water coming from the water, this is not Dolphins only Whales use their blow holes in this way.

The threats of the Puffer fish endangerment is that people in Japan will catch them and eat them till they are extinct and that people will make Puffer fish gel.
