Guidance Counselling

Middleton Grange School's Guidance Unit has three trained and qualified Counsellors;

• Mr Mike Coleman
• Mrs Jane Ellis

The Guidance Unit is a place where all students can freely share their concerns and struggles in a safe and supportive environment.

Our counselling approach is primarily person-centred. Utilising effective and focused listening and reflection students are able to discover abilities and resources that will enable them to develop new strategies and goals for the future.

Our support of students is offered within an integrated environment where parents and teachers have an important role to play.
