Year 13

Stature

The focus for Year 13 is Stature, the development of strong and godly character, of confidence and of personal integrity. Pupils in Year 13 are encouraged to lead and to inspire others within the school community to stand up and be counted. This is demonstrated through academic performance, worship in assemblies, Peer Tutoring, running sporting events, leading House events, leadership roles in Vertical Groups, World Vision fundraising, mission trips, leading sports and cultural groups. Pupils in Year 13 are encouraged to take hold of ideas and "make them happen".

We regard our Year 13s as role models for the rest of the school and expect each cohort to build on the reputation of the previous group.

STATURE involves

  • Being community minded - aware of others' need and being proactive in meeting those needs
  • Striving for academic excellence
  • Awareness of a biblical world view
  • Serving through leadership
  • Establishing a vision and direction for life beyond school
  • Continually working at developing Christ-like character
